World Cluny

Anne Marie began her life of service in France but responded with great excitement to a request from the Government to work abroad. The Sisters went to:

	Senegal 1819
	India 1826
	West Indies 1833
	Tahiti 1843
She observed and welcomed the values expressed in difference.She measured the tasks to be done:
	Educate children
	Care for them
	Cultivate the land
	Educate the indigenous people to be responsible for their own life. And set to do with a will.
She proved in Guiana that with love, respect and training, slaves became responsible human beings and model citizens.Today numerous slaveries exist in other forms:
	Marginalisation
	Poverty
	Prostitution
	Promiscuity
	Violence
