Trochrague, Scotland

Written by Administrator. Posted in History

In August 1957, Captain Todd of Trochrague offered his family house to the Congregation. After long deliberations, it was decided to open it as a family guest house.
Since then many have enjoyed not only material comforts, but many spiritual consolations as well. Besides being used as a guest house for relaxtion, it became very popular for retreats and conferences etc. Trochrague House was officially handed over to the Jericho Benedictine Brothers on 8th December 1993.

It is presently used as a rest house and rehabilitation centre for reformed alcoholocs, and for poorer families who would normally not be able to afford a holiday.
