A final expression of how we had experienced this assembly concluded our work and brought us to Eucharist prepared by the Liturgical Committee.
At the end of Mass our short missioning service sent us forth with a little pot of seedlings to be nurtured as a symbol of "new growth and hope...Its growth will speak to us about our own continual spiritual development, our deepening prayer life and God's faithful, silent working in our daily lives."
The Provincial Assembly got underway this afternoon at 4 pm with the prayer of Vespers prepared by Girvan based on theme "Forward in Hope".
