Opening of the acticvity center

A Nursing Home Activity Centre with a difference. On December 8th Srs Catherine and Benedicte realised their vision of an Activity Centre for the Nursing Home that would entertain and not repel residents. |

In line with respecting the dignity and independence of each sister an attractive room was equipped with facilities for socialising and craftwork. Residents could then come in at their leisure, choose an activity and pursue it in congenial surroundings. This morning one group was making cards, another group was playing cards, a third group scrabble and others were knitting. Others were wielding paintbrushes and we await their masterpieces!! Kavita was facilitating and the rest of the staff were helping out. It was a joy to behold. At other times the centre is used for Meetings and all types of Community Gatherings. Congrats to all concerned |
