We have been in ministry to the people of Stafford since 1903. It is our privilege to have as the main work of our community, the service of the sick and elderly in the nursing home. The residents appreciate very much the presence and visits of the sisters. Our gathering together for Mass and Divine Office is the centre of our community. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament each day unites us to praise the Lord and bring to Him not only the needs of our Cluny sisters worldwide, but those of our broken world. |

Our Cluny Associates meet once a month and one of the members, Lucy, is at present composing a hymn to Blessed Anne Marie, to honour her in this our Bi-Centennial Year. A parish prayer group, led by one of our sisters, meets in the convent each week. A new ministry is the teaching of English to non nationals and one of the sisters is involved in this.

Another important ministry is to help at reception. This enables us to welcome the families of the residents, workers, and all those who come to our door. We find opportunities to interact with the young as they too assume responsibility as receptionists. We welcome our sisters form abroad who wish to study English or to avail of courses in Stafford College. Though we have our own chaplain, we have strong links with the parish, whose priests are always willing to help out in our needs. We attend various services in the Church, when possible, throughout the year.
