A West Indian Steel band from a Cluny School in Port of Spain, Trinidad. The youngest musician is 7 years old and the oldest is 12. They took time off from their tour of Great Britain to play for students and sisters in Mount Sackville, Cluny, Killiney and Mulhuddart primary School. The calypso beat had the young (and the not so young) bopping all over the shop

New Wing of St Joseph's Convent Nursing Home was opened and blessed at a special Mass on Wednesday, February 20th by His Grace, Archbishop Vincent Nichols of Birmingham.

On the 14 of November the feast of St Laurence O Tool Srs Agnes Reilly and Carmel O Halloran took up residence in our new Community in Tyrrelstown. The third member Sr Angela Mannion will join them shortly.

On Sunday the 14 th of October 2007 the Staff of Mount Sackville Nursing Home joined the sisters from the Community to celebrate internationality and the instigation on Missionary Awareness week.

The Province of Ireland and Great Britain joined with Sisters throughout the world in France to celebrate the bicentenary of the foundation of the Congregation

May 12 Convent Celebration -Our celebrations began with a concelebrated Mass in our convent chapel. This was followed by a festive meal for all our invited guests.
May 18 Parish Celebration - Mass was concelebrated by seven priests in our parish church of St Austin and attended by a good representation of parishioners. After the Mass a delicious buffet was enjoyed by all in the beautifully decorated parish hall.

Mass on the 14th May was celebrated by the Apostolic Nuncio, Giuseppe Lazzarotto, with15 other priests concelebrating. This was followed by a meal for a further 200 guests.

On the 12th May Mount Sackville commemorated the bi-centenary with a concelebrated Jubilee Mass (main celebrant chaplain Father Patrick Desmond), a remembrance service in the cemetery and a meal for 200 guests.

On 30th March we celebrated Sr. Margaret Magurn's 102nd birthday. Sister is very grateful to each and all for the many Masses, cards, presents and flowers she received.
